Molding Supervisor

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of molding operators and technicians
• Ensure the molding process adheres to quality and safety standards
• Optimize production processes to meet efficiency and quality goals
• Monitor and troubleshoot molding equipment and processes
• Train and mentor team members in molding techniques and best practices
• Implement and maintain production schedules
• Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve any issues
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to streamline processes
• Manage inventory and supplies related to the molding process
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and implement strategies to improve overall molding operations
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Address any personnel or performance issues within the team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or any Graduate
• Proven experience in a molding or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
• Indepth knowledge of molding processes and equipment
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
• Excellent understanding of quality management principles
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using molding software and related tools
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Certification in molding or related field is an advantage
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
