Mern Stack Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement userfacing features using React
• Develop and maintain serverside architecture using Node.js and Express
• Build and maintain efficient and reliable JavaScript code
• Create database schemas and interact with MongoDB
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection
• Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning and reviews
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions
• Participate in code reviews
• Provide technical support and mentor junior developers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mern Stack Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Handson experience with React Node.js and Express
• Experience with database design using MongoDB
• Good understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean efficient code
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certifications in MERN stack development or related technologies is a plus
