Role and Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical records patient charts and documentation to accurately assign ICD10 and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Ensure that all coding is compliant with applicable coding guidelines and regulations including federal and state requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and physicians to clarify coding and documentation discrepancies.
Perform regular audits to identify coding errors and discrepancies and take corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of coding changes industry updates and compliance standards.
Provide coding expertise and guidance to internal staff as needed.
Candidate Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICD10 and CPT coding proficiency in the use of coding software and related tools strong knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and physiology familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations and guidelines and certification in medical coding (e.g. CPC CCS or similar) is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail and analytical skills strong problemsolving abilities the capacity to work independently effective communication skills the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards. Immediate joiners are preferred.
