Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Job Summary: The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the business needs of the organization and translating them into detailed software requirements. They work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that the software solutions developed align with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Elicitation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. This involves conducting interviews workshops and document analysis to understand the needs of the organization.
Document Creation: a. Software Requirements Specification (SRS): Prepare a comprehensive SRS document that outlines the functional and nonfunctional requirements of the software system. b. Functional Requirements Document (FRD): Create detailed FRD that describes the specific functions and features of the software often including use cases user stories and acceptance criteria. c. Business Requirement Documents (BRD): Develop BRDs to provide a highlevel view of the business needs objectives and constraints. d. Use Cases: Define and document detailed use cases to describe system interactions and user workflows.
Requirement Analysis: Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure they are clear complete and feasible. Resolve conflicts or ambiguities in requirements.
Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team. Ensure that technical teams have a clear understanding of the requirements and address any questions or concerns.
Change Management: Manage and document changes to requirements throughout the project ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the impact of changes on the project scope.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to create test plans and test cases based on the documented requirements. Ensure that testing aligns with the specified functionality.
Solution Validation: Participate in the validation and verification of the delivered software to ensure it meets the defined requirements and objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices related to business analysis and requirements documentation. Continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using requirements management tools and software..
Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
Experience In Creating SRS FRD And Other Relevant Documentation.
