SEO Team Lead
Overview:
The SEO Team Lead plays a crucial role in leading and managing the SEO team to drive organic traffic improve search engine rankings and enhance online visibility for the organization. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies optimizing website content and overseeing the performance of the SEO team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization efforts
- Lead and mentor the SEO team providing guidance and support in executing SEO initiatives
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics
- Collaborate with content creators web developers and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices
- Stay updated with industry trends and algorithm changes to adapt strategies for maximum effectiveness
- Perform website audits to identify technical SEO issues and propose solutions
- Create and present regular performance reports to management
- Stay informed about competitors SEO strategies and industry best practices
- Oversee link building strategies and offpage optimization efforts
- Optimize website content metadata and internal linking structure for improved organic visibility
- Implement local and mobile SEO strategies for targeted visibility
- Collaborate with web development teams to implement technical SEO best practices
- Contribute to the development of SEOfriendly content and ensure adherence to best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field
- Proven experience in SEO with a strong track record of improving search engine rankings
- Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics SEMrush and Moz
- Indepth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
- Understanding of HTML CSS and website administration
- Certification in Google Analytics or similar tools is a plus
- Experience in local and mobile SEO strategies
- Knowledge of content management systems and web development
- Thorough understanding of onpage and offpage optimization techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
