Job Description
Overview:
The School Computer Teacher plays a crucial role in fostering students digital literacy and computer proficiency. They are responsible for designing and delivering engaging comprehensive computer science and technology lessons equipping students with essential skills for the 21st century.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement ageappropriate computer science curriculum
- Teach students fundamental computer skills programming concepts and digital citizenship
- Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance learning experiences
- Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate technology across disciplines
- Stay updated with the latest educational technology and digital resources
- Supervise computerbased testing and assist in troubleshooting technical issues
- Instill good digital citizenship and internet safety practices in students
- Organize and oversee coding clubs technology fairs or related extracurricular activities
- Establish and maintain a wellequipped and organized computer lab
Job Locations: Purulia (WestBengal).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Computer Science or related field
- Teaching certification or licensure
- Demonstrated experience in teaching computer science or technology
- Proficiency in educational software and applications
- Strong understanding of effective teaching techniques in the context of computer education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to students diverse learning styles and abilities
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies for technology integration
