Role Description As a Procurement Officer you will play a vital rolein our organizations supply chain management Your primaryresponsibility will be to ensure that our company acquires highqualitygoods and services at competitive prices You will work closely withvendors suppliers and various internal departments to support theprocurement process Your role is crucial to maintaining efficient andcosteffective operations Responsibilities Sourcing SuppliersIdentify potential suppliers and vendors evaluate their products orservices and establish relationships to ensure a reliable supplychain Negotiation Negotiate favorable terms and conditions withsuppliers to secure costeffective agreements while maintaining qualitystandards Purchase Order Management Create and manage purchaseorders ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with companypolicies Cost Control Monitor and analyze procurement costsidentifying costsaving opportunities and optimizing purchasingstrategies Quality Assurance Collaborate with quality control andassurance teams to ensure that procured goods and services meetquality and safety standards Inventory Management Maintain optimalinventory levels to avoid stockouts while minimizing carrying costsSupplier Performance Continuously evaluate supplier performance andaddress any issues or noncompliance Documentation Maintain accurateprocurement records and documentation for auditing and reportingpurposes Market Research Stay informed about industry trendsmarket conditions and emerging products to make informed procurementdecisions Compliance Ensure procurement activities comply withrelevant laws regulations and company policies Reporting Generateand present regular reports on procurement activities costs andsavings to management
