L2 IMS engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2 Core IMS operation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and proficiency in IMS core domain. Fluency in English.

• Responsible for the daytoday operation and support in one specific IMS domain.
  
• Provide Level 2 support for Nokia products troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Diameter VOLTE SIP and other associated protocols.
  
• Manage and resolve complex customer issues escalated from the Monitoring support team.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice and messaging related incidents to identify the root cause and ensure swift and effective resolution.
  
• Perform regular technical analysis to ensure the optimization and quality of the services.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams partners and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues and implement corrective actions.
  
• Conduct testing and verification of any implemented changes in configurations to ensure they meet regulatory and service requirements.
  
• Generate reports analyze service/operational KPIs and contribute to the improvement of processes and procedures.
  
• Document and maintain detailed records of all support activities including resolutions troubleshooting steps and partner interactions.
  
• Change implementation.
  
• Handle communications with other domains.
  
• Build knowledge and manage daily operation activities to high efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with our Partners and internal stakeholders to identify issue and fixes incidents within the agreed service SLA.
  
• Be part of an oncall shift rotation pool.
  
• Availability to work occasionally during nights and weekends to provide support for urgent issues or scheduled maintenance.
  
• Working from office.
  

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in mobile core network operations / Planning.

• Deep understanding of mobile network related protocols and technologies such as SS7 Diameter GTP MAP SIP RTP IPbased protocols.

• Strong technical knowledge on VoIP LTE VoLTE/IMS including core network elements and architecture.
  

X

• Nokia cloud products experience is highly appreciated.

Hands on in one of the below domains or 3 products or more from below Nokia products:

• IMS Core: Nokia TAS Nokia ASBC CFX (CSCF).
  
• Ribbon: GSX 9000 PSX ISBC SGX 4000.
  
• SDM: MSS OneMNP Nokia HSSSDL OneEIR HSM Nokia AAA Mmtel NetNumber TITAN.
  
• DSI: SPS PCRF OCS NPC NCC Flowone Data Refinery NWR CSD.
  
• OSS: NetAct Zabbix DSI.
  
• Other: NLS CBAM Radisys MRF TelesySTP CMREPO NGIN Oracle CHF/PCF.
