Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Supports the Payroll Manager in the performance of their duties
  • Preparation of payroll for multiple entities including processing of weekly timesheets
  • Accurately enters all transactions daily/weekly/monthly into accounting system
  • Uploads supporting evidence for all transactions entered
  • Performs bank reconciliations for all bank accounts including credit cards
  • Preparation of monthly or Quarterly PAYGW, PAYGI or Business Activity Statements including fully reconciled VoB workpapers
  • Preparation of Annual Employee Payment Summaries
  • Preparation of quarterly superannuation returns for all entities as required
  • Reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts with main general ledger account
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts with external records (eg ATO integrated client account, super and payroll tax)
  • Promptly informs the Accounts Manager of any issues with accounts
  • Perform administrative tasks to support Executive Team
  • Maintains and builds a supportive and effective team culture
  • Upholds and promotes the firm s values
  • Maintains the highest ethical and professional standards


Requirements

  • Accounting degree
  • At least 4 + years experience in Bookkeeping or accounting
  • Basic Skills with MYOB and / or XERO or equivalent
  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
