We are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as an Asphalt Laborer at IIQAF. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction and is looking to build a successful career in the industry. Role and Responsibilities:


As an Asphalt Laborer you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the installation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces. Your main duties will include:


Assisting with the preparation of the construction site by setting up barricades traffic cones and signs

Laying smoothing and repairing asphalt surfaces using hand tools and equipment such as shovels rakes trowels and power tools

Operating machinery such as rollers and payers to spread and compact asphalt

Assisting with the installation of concrete curbs gutters and sidewalks

Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools used in the construction process

Following all safety procedures and wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects




Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather

Knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in construction

Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
