As a Category Supplier Manager you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions performance management and negotiations. In this role you will partner with internal stakeholders to build comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success. You will lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction initiatives supply base optimization and contract negotiation. This is accomplished through building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships to meet needs according to category strategies. In this role you will engage in supplier benchmarking analysis to formulate and lead and execute strategies to optimize cost supply and quality. Additional responsibilities include negotiating terms conditions and pricing to leverage spend leading and participating in department projects serving as a primary contact for industry and supplier information and acting as a mentor for other members within the Procurement organization. Description: Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus. Must be proficient navigating in various operating systems such as Linux, Unix, CentOS, Windows10 or later, Windows Sever. Must be proficient in using MS products such as Office365, SharePoint, Teams etc. This person will work individually as well as part of a team and will need to work well with others.
