Demolition Laborer

We are looking for a hardworking and skilled Demolition Laborer to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional services.

As a Demolition Laborer you will play a critical role in the demolition process. You will be responsible for assisting with the destruction removal and cleanup of structures and other buildings that are scheduled for demolition. This position will require a physical and mental ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle various tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform demolition tasks such as dismantling breaking and removing structures using hand and power tools

Load and unload materials debris and other items from trucks and site

Operate heavy machinery such as jackhammers excavators and bulldozers to assist with demolition

Safely handle hazardous materials such as asbestos lead and mold in accordance with safety regulations

Assist in setting up and maintaining safety barriers warning signs and cones to ensure the safety of workers and the public

Maintain a clean and organized work site by collecting and disposing of debris and waste materials appropriately

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries

Communicate effectively with the team to ensure efficient completion of tasks

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year experience in demolition or construction industry

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators and bulldozers

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the demolition industry

Good communication and teamwork skills

Possess a valid drivers license
