Your mission

Welcome to your new role at Sungrow as our Sales Manager for EV Charging in Germany!

Then have a look at your responsibilities below:

You will play a pivotal role in driving sales strategic partnerships and market growth within the EV charging industry.

  • Youll coordinate qualify deals and manage tenders for DC and AC chargers
  • Youll develop and implement strategies to improve short and longterm sales.
  • Youll establish and maintain strong relations with customer partners collaborating crossfunctionally.
  • Youll generate and nurture a strategic account pipeline.
  • Youll work closely with marketing product management and operations.
  • Youll support sales of AC chargers included in PV systems.
  • Youll monitor developments in the EV charging market providing recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Youll participate in exhibitions and seminars to expand business reach.
  • Youll identify and pursue leads for both DC and AC EV chargers.
  • Youll prepare and submit tenders for EV charging projects negotiating and closing sales contracts.
  • Youll stay updated on market trends providing insights reports and forecasts to management.

Your profile

Do you have the legal right to work in Germany

Before applying please ensure you have the legal right to work in Germany without the need for visa sponsorship.

What will you need to be successful

  • Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering degree with a focus on energy.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and account management in the EV charging industry.
  • Technical knowledge in EMobility.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer visits fairs and events.

Desired skills:

  • Strong negotiation presentation and problemsolving skills.
  • Analytical thinking with a strategic approach to business planning.
  • Teamplayer mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit selfdriven and results oriented.

Nice to haves:

  • Languages skills in Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Knowledge of the solar energy market in Europe
