API Solutions Architect

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about driving innovation through API management platforms Double Yolk is seeking an experienced API Technical Leader to spearhead the development and implementation of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and lead the management of the Apigee API management platform. In this role you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to showcase the value of API solutions to prospective clients and provide technical leadership to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop tailorfitted PoCs that demonstrate the value and effectiveness of API management platforms to prospective clients.
   

2. API Technical Leadership: Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Apigee API management platform ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements propose solutions and ensure successful delivery and integration of API solutions.
   

3. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to API development teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
   

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for collaborating with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
   

2. Google Cloud Platform Certification: Demonstrated experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and relevant certification is required.
   

3. Cloud Certification: Certification in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure) is preferred.
   

4. REST & SOAP API Experience: Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP API design and development.
   

5. Apigee Expertise: Indepth knowledge and experience with the Apigee API management platform is a must.
   

6. Programming Experience: Experience with JavaScript Python or similar coding languages is required.
