Junior Associate Corporate & Tax Planning (REMOTE)

Our client is seeking an experienced Mid to Senior level Associate Attorney to support a thriving Corporate and Strategic Planning Tax Law practice. General Duties:
Advising on general corporate and sophisticated tax treatment and consequences of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions
Advising on tax consequences of ownership interests in corporations; including SCorporations Limited Liability Corporations Partnerships etc.
Advising on tax consequences of real estate transactions
Advising and Assisting in choice of entity planning and structuring M&A transactions
Drafting and Negotiating Tax Representations/Covenants
Assisting in general tax due diligence review
Requirements & Experience:
2 years practicing attorney with relevant law firm experience
Essential Knowledge Base Experience
Juris Doctorate from an accredited university
Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado (good standing)
Tax Experience preferred Interest level in Tax
Strong team player with demonstrated leadership qualities
A motivated individual with a proven capacity to develop opportunities through effective relationships that lead to successful business development for the Practice and Firm
Key Results:
Proportionately contribute to overall client satisfaction and firm revenue/profitability goals
Achieve positive reviews from clients
Attain minimum billing hours (utilization) on a monthly and annual basis
Attain Effective Rate goals on a monthly and annual basis
Develop new client referral sources for business development on an annual basis that leads to growth for the Practice and Firm
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team conducting research preparing legal documents and performing other duties to ensure clients receive the best and most costeffective legal solutions
Develop implementation strategy and coordinate and consummate preparation of relevant documents
Excellent drafting skills coupled with the ability to formulate consider and select the most appropriate solutions
Strong organizational skills and a selfstarter with the ability to prioritize/manage workflow to meet deadlines

Benefits and Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $100000$135000 depending on experience.
We have a dynamic bonus program for Associate level attorneys which permits time for business development without sacrificing bonus eligibility after achieving 1500 billable hours.
