Business Development Manager Food

Tasks

With our Seameat product we have a super innovative & sustainable proposition and we get more and more traction. Now we need someone to bring our sales to the next level. As a business development manager you will focus on wholesalers catering companies restaurants and other foodservice companies. You will closely work together with the product manager marketing and the rest of the Food team. You will generate and pursue leads setup meetings coordinate projects with our partners.

SeaMeat is our seaweed blend that can replace 25% of meat in meatballs burgers sausages and other minced meat products. Super tasty juicy and goodlooking. As seaweed is (almost) climate neutral this leads to a 25% reduction in its climate impact while also enhancing the products health benefits. Reducing scope 3 emissions and improving Nutriscores. To create a meaningful impact we chose a hybrid approach that can instigate change on a broader scale reaching a larger audience rather than focusing solely on a niche vegan market

Requirements

• You have 36 year experience in B2B sales (including driving growth to new customers) ideally within the food industry
• You have experience working in professional yet dynamic environment. Our fastgrowing and flat organisation requires a level of flexibility and proactivity.
• Youre not afraid to pick up the phone
• You have a network in foodservice and are willing to address them
• You have a structured way of working. Know how to deal with sales tools & Excel
• You fearlessly challenge the status quo in the food world (including meat processors and conventional food players).
• You are entrepreneurial at heart if you have an idea you make it happen and do the work.
• You have a structured approach. You are willing to assist in refining pitches for clients or to support pilot projects with large customers driven by the Business Development Leads.
• You thrive in an environment that involves collaboration with diverse colleagues crossfunctional teams and a wide range of partners/clients.
