Job Description

• Provide leadership and motivation to a range of theatre practitioners and learners
  

• Jointly responsible alongside the Plastics leadership team for the delivery of high standards of care and service to our patients
  

• Oversee clinical equipment and staffing needs for Plastic surgery.
  

• Supervise staff in the delivery of care as well as identify develop and support staff training needs.
  

• Work collaboratively with Plastic consultants/surgeons and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that Plastics lists have everything needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  

• Adhere to the concepts laid out by the 5 Steps to Safer Surgery and the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist.
  

Demonstrate clinical expertise in scrub and circulating practice across a range of Plastic and Reconstructive cases.
