Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Night Toolpusher you will play a crucial role in the management and operation of our land rigs during night shifts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Senior Toolpusher in directing and controlling all operational functions of the rig while on tour.
- Ensuring the safety of personnel and operations by adhering to strict safety protocols and best practices.
- Overseeing and coordinating drilling activities including well control and maintenance.
- Monitoring and managing the rig crew to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Conducting regular equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Collaborating with other rig personnel to optimize drilling performance.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of all rig activities.
- Participating in emergency response procedures and drills as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience as a Toolpusher on land rigs in the oil and gas industry.
- A valid Well Control certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in deep drilling with 3000HP deep drilling experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and on a rotational schedule as needed.
