Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Help develop and refine overall automation strategy establishing processes for sourcing vetting and prioritizing new automations and consistently communicating on program status and value delivered.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify repetitive manual processes gather requirements for new automations and ensure sufficient process documentation prior to beginning automation work.

Design and build automated workflows using automation platform Rewst. Promote reusability and consistency by building a library of DRY functions that can be used across multiple workflows.

Conduct thorough testing of new automated workflows to identify and resolve any bugs errors or performance issues. Ensure the reliability and stability of automated processes.

Continuously monitor automated workflows to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep automations uptodate and optimized.

Ensure that automations meet quality standards and comply with security and data privacy regulations.

Provide training and support to team members and users who interact with workflows forms etc.

Keep up to date with the latest automation technologies trends and best practices to enhance skills and bring innovation to automation process.

Become the subject matter expert for internal and customer facing tools including Documentation Password Security Phishing Awareness email security endpoint security PSA and RMM.

Assistance with conducting analysis of new technologies and recommendations for internal tool stack development

Fleet management through RMM tool

o Agent Maintenance & Deployment

o Automation Scripting and Component Creation

o Patch Management Policy Refinement

o Report Development

o Administration of Endpoint Detection and Response Environmet (EDR)

Administration of Managed Backup Platforms

Administration of Client Experience Platform

Maintenance of vendor API Integrations throughout the internal tech stack

Directory Management (Active Directory & Azure AD)

Endpoint Policy Management

Microsoft Azure Tenant Management

Microsoft Office 365 tenant Management

Security Toolset Management (EDR MDR SOC/SIEM)

Providing assistance to the service team as required

Enter endofday time entry and submit time sheets regularly and accurately.

Complete all assigned training courses reading materials or ecourses as required.

Attend and actively participate in team meetings.



Requirements

Strong knowledge of the MSP market including processes and tools (e.g. PSA RMM documentation).

Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of automation principles. Experience using automation tools writing scripts in PowerShell and/or working with APIs.

Exceptional problemsolving skills with the ability to think creatively challenge assumptions and break complex problems into smaller chunks.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical concepts and business value.

Adaptability with the capacity to learn quickly and continuously refine processes and approaches.

Preferred Technical Skills and Qualifications: Microsoft Windows: Strong proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows Server, and other Windows versions. Knowledge of Windows domain environments and Active Directory administration. Fortinet: Experience with Fortinet firewall and security solutions. Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate devices. Microsoft EntraID/Azure: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and solutions. Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and identity management. Microsoft Office 365: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications and services. Knowledge of email configuration, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams within Office 365. Microsoft Servers: Experience with Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019). Ability to set up and maintain Windows Server environments. Kaseya: Familiarity with Kaseya's IT management and remote monitoring software. Knowledge of automating IT tasks and remote system management using Kaseya. Datto Products: Experience with Datto's backup and disaster recovery solutions. Ability to configure and manage Datto devices for data protection and business continuity. Datto RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management): Proficiency in using Datto RMM for remote monitoring, automation, and management of client endpoints and networks. Autotask: Experience with Autotask PSA (Professional Services Automation) for ticketing, project management, and resource management. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certifications are a plus Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks. Customer-focused with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
