Job Description

Haztech has a GREAT part time opportunity for a Registered Nurse at a mine in Southern Saskatchewan. The nurse will work one or two weekends a month from Thursday Sunday. Meals accommodations and travel are covered by Haztech!

The first rotation begins February 1st 2024 and will continue once every 4 weeks following that weekend.

Details

  • Two weekends a month from Thursday Sunday
  • Hours are 6:30am 4:30pm
  • Location is 2 hours east if Regina
  • All meals travel and accommodations are covered by Haztech

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients
  • Maintain accurate detailed reports and records
  • Record patient medical information and vital signs
  • Modify patients’ treatment plan as indicated by responses and condition
  • Prepare rooms sterilize instruments maintain equipment and ensure supply stocks are maintained
  • Coordinate and execute health screening program for all employees visitors and contractors
  • Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
  • Complete required questionnaires risk assessments and health screening
  • Assess patients’ health care needs and record patients’ medical information

You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company while providing a safe and positive work environment as well as develop relationships and rapport with all colleagues contractors and clients.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Saskatchewan
  • Industrial experience preferred but no mandatory
  • ACLS is mandatory but it can be obtained within 2 months of the start date (Haztech is running this course for our nurses at the end of Sept)
  • Occupational health nurse experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Valid driver’s license and criminal record clearance
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
