Lead Creators Content

Popcentral Nigerias premier general entertainment platform is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as the Lead Creators & Content. In this multifaceted role you will be responsible for managing the cocreation model acquiring external content and ensuring seamless collaboration with both creators and cocreators. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the diverse landscape of content creation from talk shows to feature films.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Acquisition:

Identify and evaluate potential content creators and partners for collaboration.

Source compelling shows both instudio and external that align with Popcentrals content strategy.

Onboard shows creators and cocreators ensuring a smooth integration into Popcentrals content ecosystem.

2. Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external content creators and partners.

Act as the main point of contact for cocreators and creators addressing concerns discussing feedback and ensuring a positive collaboration experience.

Interface and sell the platform to attract highquality content at panel discussions industry engagements and other relevant events.

3. Production Coordination:

Collaborate with internal production teams to align schedules resources and timelines.

Oversee the production of instudio and external content ensuring highquality standards and adherence to brand guidelines.

Monitor show health identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during production.

4. Content Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Popcentrals brand identity.

Write show formats proposals and presentations to communicate content concepts effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners.

5. Representation:

Represent Popcentral at industry events seminars and discussions related to content creation.

Articulate Popcentrals content vision and standards fostering partnerships and collaborations within the entertainment industry.

6. Show Health and Feedback:

Monitor the health of shows and discuss feedback with creators and cocreators.

Collaborate with internal creators teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of Popcentrals content offerings.

Proven experience in content acquisition production coordination and partnership management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Indepth knowledge of the entertainment industry particularly in the Nigerian and African contexts.

Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualise and articulate content ideas effectively.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Adept at representing a brand at industry events building relationships with content creators and selling the platform.
