• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
• Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority
• Invite, assess, award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals
• Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers
