Our client, a commercial electrical company established since 2001 has a solid commercial and government client base throughout Gold Coast, Ipswich, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast providing:

The ideal candidate will be Gold Coast. Be commercially savvy and have wide range of compliance and commercial electrical work experience together with a genuine desire to work long term in an independent successful electrical contracting business. The successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:
This position offers ongoing varied and interesting work. Excellent terms of employment. You will be provided with uniforms, tools, a company vehicle or mileage allowance if you use your own vehicle. Wages including superannuation are paid weekly.

- Commercial (some domestic) installation, repairs and maintenance, data
- Compliance test and tag, RCD, emergency light
Initially you will be working alongside the Managing Director within a friendly and supportive team environment. Your varied and interesting duties and responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out electrical work in line with company requirements and processes
- Completing maintenance and repair electrical work to a high standard
- Installing minor electrical equipment
- Repairing and maintaining, single phase and 3 phase
- Compliance testing and tagging of all portable electrical equipment
- Compliance testing and installation of emergency lighting, exit signs and RCDs
- Caballing, data installations
- Investigating equipment failure/malfunction and implement or coordinate repairs
- Fault finding and testing
- Assisting with other maintenance requirements
- Performing work in a safe manner, abiding by company and legislative safe work procedures, instructions and safety management practices
The ideal candidate will be Gold Coast. Be commercially savvy and have wide range of compliance and commercial electrical work experience together with a genuine desire to work long term in an independent successful electrical contracting business. The successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:
- A Grade Electrician with a minimum of 5+ years as a qualified electrician in a similar role
- Current clean QLD Driver’s Licence
- Blue Card (desired not essential)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in commercial electrical maintenance, cabling and data
- Demonstrated experience in installations, service and identifying faults
- An excellent understanding of electrical maintenance and installation work across commercial, residential and industrial
- Understand and adhere to work permits, procedures and work method statements
- Excellent knowledge of AS3000 and OHS&E requirements
- Police and Working with Children checks, or you are willing for us to obtain them
- A Culture of Safety and Zero Harm focus
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Punctual, with high standards of personal presentation and grooming
- Well-groomed and spoken
- Highly skilled with client communication and customer relationship skills
- Comfortable working in professional offices
- Computer literate
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal
- Impeccable work references
