Weve launched a stellar product and have onboarded the first group of awesome customers. With our seed funding closed were now ready to supercharge our growth and are looking for a strong commercial Account Exec to join our very productfocused team to drive sales results.

Our sales function is the foundation of our growth and is supported by strong outbound and productdriven efforts. Youll be working with an awesome product that is easily demonstrable and can generate wow moments and value to clients during the sales cycle. The topic of supply chain sustainability is hot and is top of mind for any chief procurement or sustainability officer out there. The challenge for you will be heavy prioritization sorting out readiness to take action in a sea of interest and working with our leadership product and marketing teams to continuously improve on our productmarket fit as we graduate towards Series A.

Youll work directly with the Sales and marketing teams to fill your pipeline and ensure we have the most compelling message out there and get mentorship both from inside the company and leading experts outside. An Account Exec is expected to approach potential customers via outreach tools like Lusha email prospecting LinkedIn and cold calling but will be heavily supported in this respect by his or her own SDR. SDRs are responsible for creating and qualifying leads for the Sales Exec. The Sales Exec is responsible for their own activities and performance and is targeted on a monthly basis like everybody in sales. The AE works closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop intuitive strategies for new customer acquisition. AEs are compensated with a competitive base salary and commissioned on deals closed won.

Tasks

Your responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect to potential customers based on Responsiblys ICP guidelines using a mix of channels.
  • Effectively drive pipeline growth by hitting and exceeding activity expectations
  • Qualify leads to create a pipeline of prospects with high closing potential (min 10 percent)
  • Push past gatekeepers to reach the right stakeholders
  • Effectively deliver the Responsibly value proposition articulating how our products can improve sustainable purchasing.
  • Understand intent signals and share your learnings about key markets and ICPs with the business.
  • Share successes challenges and current market trends to foster knowledgesharing across the business.
  • Participate in regular day to day sales training and coaching sessions on the desk
  • The main success criteria is to achieve the personal target monthovermonth and deliver high activity

Requirements

About you

  • 1 years experience as an AE within Saas
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in SaaS
  • Experience in using a CRM system (HubSpot is a plus)
  • Experience in using sales tools (Sales Navigator ZoomInfo Lusha)
  • Confidence on the phone
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Competitive you want to be rewarded for your level of effort
  • Intelligent fast learner great listener and a communicator that captivates people
  • Analytical thinker and growth mindset with the drive to continuously improve and develop yourself
  • Highly motivated with a cando attitude ready to work in a fastpaced environment

We also saw the impact we could have on our own suppliers when we pushed sustainability objectives but we struggled to find the resources to realize it at scale.

From that came an idea. What if every company in the world had sustainability on the scorecard when evaluating suppliers What if technology took the complexity and workload out of it and made sustainability as easy to evaluate as price We started Responsibly in 2021 to find out.
