Automation Test Analyst

Job type- Permanent (Hybrid)
Location- Brisbane, Australia
We have an urgent requirement for two Automation Test Analysts for one of our leading IT client . As a Tester, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Testing software applications
Extensive experience in testing web applications with a variety of browser platforms, including Firefox, Chrome, and Safari is a plus.
Thorough Understanding of - Test life cycle & Defect life cycle
Ability to understand requirements thoroughly, design, develop, execute tests, and ensure test coverage
Working with the development team you should be adaptable, as allocation will be across different test phases on several projects.
Collaborating with developers, business analysts and users to understand testing needs
Ensuring application and infrastructure changes are thoroughly tested and test tools are used appropriately to ensure an effective and efficient test process
Providing accurate and timely reporting of problems identified during test execution and proactively ensuring appropriate resolution
Troubleshooting defects and managing defect tracking and resolution for defects related to automated and load testing
Ability to Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Strong command of programming languages like Java/JavaScript
Experience with any Open Source testing tools like Selenium/Cypress
Ability to query SQL databases
Ability to understand the test automation framework concepts, Contribute to the development of automation frameworks and author automated tests
Understanding of GIT or equivalent is mandatory
Essential requirements
Candidate should have a work permit or citizen of Australia
Excellent computer fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional testing skills. Provide good attention to details
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Prior exposure to energy or oil & gas domain is a plus
