Administrative
- Answering phone calls and emails from internal stakeholders
- Managing and maintaining electronic filing systems
- Providing administrative support to management and staff including filing data entry and scheduling appointments or events
- General administrative duties such as ordering office supplies maintaining office equipment and uniform inventory
Bookkeeping
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry reconciling accounts or credit card statements and generating financial reports and statements
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including recording financial transactions in accounting software (Xero) and processing invoices receipts and other financial documents
Requirements
Requirements/Skills Needed:
- At least 12 years of experience as a Junior Bookkeeper or similar
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word and Outlook) and some understanding of basic accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Adherence to time frames and meeting deadlines
- Qualifications in business administration bookkeeping or accounting would be an advantage
