Must have the following knowledge and experience:
At least five (5) years of experience on most recent SharePoint version as administrator or developer
At least five (5) years of experience and knowledge based on but not limited to one or more of the capability languages
Capabilities:
Ability to gather requirements, design, and develop solutions that fill those requirements.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment working directly with customers, training staff developers, explaining solutions, and alternatives to customers, staff, and sponsors.
Experience coding in the following language(s):
o Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD
o Balsamiq or similar UI design tools
o HTML 5
o CSS 3
o Mobile Framework (e.g., IOS, Android)
o Java Script / jQuery Plug-ins Library
o Content Management System (CMS)
o Master Pages Customizations
Preferred: Experience with SharePoint integration with the MS O365 environment to include use of SharePoint List, MS Forms, and PowerApps
Preferred: Experience in .NET development and SQL language
The Technology Services department of the Division of Management seeks the services of a Contractor to serve as an intermediate level SharePoint/Web Designer and work alongside a team that is working to develop business automation tools and configure existing SharePoint sites (both on-prem and SharePoint Online) for clients located in Washington, D.C.
The Contractor shall:
o Follow Board IT standards or industry best practice, as directed
o Serve as a developer for both SharePoint site and web UI designing
o Create and update application documentation and/or instructions
o Provide training to the team and end-users where applicable
