Finance Assistant

Role overview

We are seeking a comprehensive and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team. You will help support the financial operations of our organisation ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.

This hybrid role is based in Great Portland Street London which will see you report to the Group Management Accountant.

As a Finance Assistant at Brandwidth you will:

• Sales Ledger Assist with credit control and new client setup
• Purchase Ledger Manage the review of AP transactions preparation of weekly and biweekly payment runs management of project creation process reviewing employee expenses
• Bank Reconciliations Review daily bank journals for approval and complete monthly bank reconciliations with multicurrency bank accounts
• Cash Forecasting Assist the Management Accountants with the preparation of the monthly cash forecasting
• WIP Assist the Management Accountant with ad hoc tasks; e.g. management of the project closure process
• Report Assist with monthend reporting and maintenance of monthend schedules and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will bring:

• Experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with a flexible approach to meet changing workloads
• Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written
• Working towards an AAT qualification and/or Maconomy experience is a bonus
