Sr. Field Project Manager
Summary
We are seeking a Field Project Manager in Salisbury, MD. This position will be responsible for the research, development, design, management and implementation of capital projects throughout the company to improve manufacturing or maintenance processes, using project management best practices as defined by the Project Management Institute. To provide consultation and guidance to the facility managers for capital projects that will improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.
- The Project Manager must be willing to travel as needed to support project execution.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop capital projects that will improve manufacturing and maintenance processes.
- Manage multiple capital projects with projected scopes ranging from $100k - $25MM, from start-up to completion.
- Manage capital project implementation utilizing project management best practices.
- Manage, monitor, and implement cost control measures to ensure capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure capital projects comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental laws, regulations, requirements and Company Policies, engineering specification, and procedures.
Minimum Education
- HS Diploma Required
- AA Preferred - Construction/ Project Management
Experience Requirements
- 10 - 15 years of project execution experience
- Understanding of manufacturing technologies
- Understanding of project management techniques
- Understanding of standard software applications (Excel, AutoCAD, Word, etc.)
- Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver s license
Experience Preferred
Project Management Profession (PMP) Certification preferred but not required.
