This is a remote position.
Are you a qualified IT Specialist? Software Developer?
Do you have 2-3 years experience with database administration techniques and business analysis documentation?
Do you have a solid understanding of software design and development?
Do you have technical skills and knowledge in Prolog, GIT, Microsoft SQl/Server?

Our Client develops a suite of stockbroking settlement and wealth management products used in the financial services sector in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Requirements
As a Systems Support Analyst, you would be responsible for ensuring that:
- Technical problems reported by customers are responded to professionally and in a timely and accurate manner.
- Data analysis is performed to provide solutions for customer enquiries,
- analysis, documentation and testing support is sullied for minor system modifications and product enhancements.
- Processing errors and product defects are diagnosed and escalated to the development team.
- Proactive monitoring of customer environments occurs to validate data integrity and perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Client specific reports are developed using third party software.
- Training on product functionality is delivered to customers in a thorough and effective manner, including documentation and reference materials.
- Recommendations of new products and improved functionality are made available to the company, and incorporated into new and existing product version updates as necessary.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years post-qualification work experience
- Flexibility for non-standard working hours
- A mixture of technical skills and knowledge in Prolog, GIT, Microsoft SQL/Server
- Experience in basic database administration techniques
- Experience with business analysis documentation, e.g. Wiki for content management
- Knowledge and experience of software design and development, and ITIL
- Network Experience
- Familiarity with financial protocols such as FIX and SWIFT
- Prior employment in the IT sector
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- A degree in computer science with relevant industry experience
- Customer focused and an eagerness to master the details of the languages and tools in use at the Client
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- An inquiring mind and the desire to learn about a complex product offering in an ever-changing environment
- Professional appearance and approach
