Job Description

Assist in the performance of Administrative and Industrial Customer Support and Equipment Control requirements from PWS Sections 1.4 and 1.5.

o Assist LMCA Chief with suspense control as assigned.

o Review supply and equipment requests for accuracy and assist in resolving all discrepancies.

o Work to ensure any accountable items have been cataloged in DPAS.

o Assist in the maintenance of accountability records in DPAs and other systems of record.

o Create new DPAS catalog records using data provided.

o Assist in the performance of equipment account inventories as required.

o Process transfers and other transactions in DPAS.

o With supporting documentation process corrections/adjustments to equipment accounts attaching the documents in the DPAS transaction records.

o Assist in performing annual Organizational Visits to every account.

Assist in the performance of Material Handling and Vehicle Control requirements from PWS Sections 1.6 and 1.8.

o Sign for property received and ensure accountable property is cataloged in DPAS.

o Assist in processing item turnins including processing turnin transactions in DPAS prepare property for shipment arrange inspection from the DLA Columbus representative and move property to the LRS.

o Assist in the delivery of property received to the correct work center or customer and obtain signed receipt documentation.

o Assist in the performance of office moves / movement of furniture and equipment.

o Accurately prepare offline shipping documents and deliver assets to the installation shipping activity in accordance with USAF guidance.

o Assist the PRI Vehicle Control Officer with documentation and accountability over all vehicles assigned to AFRL at WPAFB.

Compile report of quantity and type of work accomplished.

Move or transport material from one department to another using hand or industrial truck.

May compile perpetual production records in order to locate material using manual or computerized system.

Requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences.

Examines material delivered to production departments to verify.

May be tasked to be trained and perform duties as a nonCDL Truck Driver or Material Handling Equipment operator including operating: Medium Trucks Forklifts and Specialty Material Handling Equipment.



Requirements

Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.

Will require a mixture of physical work where you may be on your feet all day as well as sitting while performing computer work at a desk.

Employees must be able to read write speak and comprehend English.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in email or verbally.

Must have current state driver s licenses to operate materiel handling equipment and up to a medium duty nonCommercial Driver s License required truck.

At least two years of experience with any of the disciplines that may be required of the position including but not limited to:

o Transportation of equipment and material.

o Equipment control material management or property accountability

o At least two years of experience in using computers as part of a military or civilian environment.

o Clean driving record.

o Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

o Ability to be trained in the use of warehouse and material handling equipment.
