EHV Front Line Manager

Due to rapid growth within OCU Group we are currently recruiting for a EHV Front Line Manager to join us! The role is to manage the delivery of the OCU National Grid EHV department ensuring all works are performed in accordance with Health safety & technical policies procedures & legislative requirements within OCU & National Grid.

The role will be responsible for:

• Planning workloads allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets
• Maintaining safety standards conducting risk assessments & ensuring staff have adequate training
• Ensuring that quality standards are upheld
• Ensure correct sign light and guarding is in place whilst conducting site inspections
• Carry out audits to make sure health and safety and quality are at the forefront of focus Delivery of Toolbox talks and signed confirmation from working gangs
• Manage KPIs across the teams to drive delivery across the build requirement
• Attend site meetings to discuss works/ timescales noticing conditions and traffic management requirements
• Responsible for productivity and compliance onsite
• Weekly planning track sheets record keeping and resource bookings as required

• NRSWA Supervisor

• SMSTS

• Temporary Works Supervisor

• SHEA Power

• Strong safety knowledge

• Good knowledge of Health & Safety & CDM Regulations

• High attention to detail

• Previous experience within a similar role is desirable
