Job description
Duties:
Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures
Oversee the allocation of nursing resources to meet patient needs and maintain appropriate staffing levels
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care including complex procedures and treatments
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Participate in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to nursing practice
Assist in the recruitment hiring and training of nursing staff

Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Experience in nurse management or leadership role preferred
Proficiency in patient care procedures including specimen collection processing administering injections and neonatal ventilator management
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
Familiarity with family planning services is a plus
