TDIMA Corporation is a healthcare recruitment agency based in the Bronx. We hire the top talent throughout all 5 boroughs of NY!
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure temperature and pulse
Assist with patient mobility and transfers
Collect specimens for laboratory testing
Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
Administer basic treatments such as wound care and medication administration
Assist with special procedures such as airway management and gastric lavage
Provide support to patients with special needs including children and those in behavioral health settings
Job Types: Parttime Fulltime
Salary: From $22.00 per hour
Physical setting:
- Long term care
- Nursing home
- Rehabilitation center
Standard shift:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Differential pay
- Overtime pay
Weekly schedule:
- Rotating weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bronx NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person
Requirements
License/Certification:
- CNA License (Required)
- BLS certificate
Skills:
Experience working with special needs patients and children is preferred
Knowledge of medical equipment and devices (DME)
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks Cerner)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced healthcare environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
