Executive Producer Director Creative Services

OPTIMAL CANDIDATE:

Here is a rare opportunity to join the premier creative department within the number one Destination Management Company. As an Executive Producer / Director of Creative you will lead the team the creative team as it continually strives to overdeliver on client expectations. Hello! specializes in Destination Management Services as well as the design and production of special events. We are looking for a careerminded individual who thrives in a fastpaced highenergy work environment where excellence is the norm and who excels in business built on relationships.

The successful diplomatic team player will be innovative and able to apply creativity and imagination to proactive problem solving and decision making. They will possess 35 years’ leadership / management event planning/sales experience as well as the ability to perform in a diverse environment with focus on customer service. Overall this position requires attention to detail organization precise oral and written communication multitasking meeting/exceeding deadlines cooperation teamwork creativity ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with coworkers and clients a polished demeanor and resourcefulness.

Knowledge of Orlando and area resources (Props Décor production linen entertainment etc.) and local geography hotels and locations is a plus!

WORK HOURS:

The position does not have a specific work hour requirement. Rather the workload is tremendous unpredictable and seasonal. During our busy season January through May we typically work a minimum of 50 hours a week including some nights and weekends.

EXPERERIENCE: 3 years minimum leadership success

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • P&L accountability and/or contractmanaged service experience is a MUST.
  • Negotiation
  • Ability to Manage and oversee special events ensuring revenue profitability

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Receive all RFP’s review distribute or return to Sales Teams with direction.
  • Assist with internal sales development AE improvement “Creative Selling” of other products (ex. off property “up sale”)
  • Follow up on pending proposals
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Vendor relations
  • Sets and ensures vendor standards/procedures
  • Periodic buying review set buying strategy with Vice President
  • Resolves all conflicts
  • Facilitates all negotiations – non program related
  • Maintain resort specific guidelines
  • Approve all new product development (everyone participates but submits to Director)
  • Direct routine sales tools new product and/or training for teams via sales meetings with the assistance of VP
  • Create proposals selfassigned as Director
  • Once “proposed” maintain contact with Sales team until contracted
  • Produce/Operate events (including draft of production schedules) as often as possible produce those she proposes
  • Reconcile P&L’s (BILLING REVIEW)
  • Maintain Calendar of Events
  • Review and set training standards for training of new coordinators account and ops managers Continuous education: Certification program
  • Assist with internal sales development AE improvement “Creative Selling” of other products (ex. off property “up sale”)

COMPENSATION:

Compensation is salary plus progressive commission/bonus structure

This position offers a base salary plus commission. The company provides laptop mileage reimbursement cell phone reimbursement health benefits and a 401K program.
