WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Content and indirectly to the Event Directors this role is dedicated to the project management and production of the content for the events within CloserStills awardwinning veterinary portfolio.

We are looking for a junior content producer who is keen to supercharge their conference production career in a dynamic fastpaced and entrepreneurial business. You will be extremely organised good at building strong working relationships curious and keen to learn.

You will be responsible for the creation of exceptional delegate experience and growth via worldclass veterinary content benchmarking against alternatives via inperson and digital events news bulletins and website portals. You will also be on the constant lookout for creative opportunities for to engage speakers to advertise the programme through interviews blogs and other promotional opportunities.

THE ROLE:

The Junior Content Producer is responsible for the following areas within their portfolio:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing & Content and the wider team to develop implement and produce conference content plans
  • Support the marketing and content teams to develop relationships and identify influential sector associations and other possible partners.
  • Ensure the marketability of conference programmes.
  • Liaise with the sponsors regarding the speakers they are providing as part of their packages and ensure the required quality of these speakers.
  • Manage the speaker contact database list management and development with the support of business intelligence and data teams.
  • Provide a customerfriendly support service for speakers to ensure their Vet Show experience is as hasslefree as possible for them preshow onsite and postshow whilst ensuring the event team has all the relevant information required from the speaker.
  • Proofreading and making necessary amendments to conference programmes on all printed literature and online materials (marketing brochures show guides timetable boards postcards etc.)
  • Ensure ontime delivery of relevant event / digital collateral
  • Help create new interactive features and formats of learning for the veterinary community
  • Attend networking and veterinary educational events and report back with industry updates and new contacts
  • Host regular industry updates for the sales and marketing team to ensure full team have their finger on the pulse of the veterinary world.
  • Willingness to assist the marketing team in the creation of editorial content for circulation in marketing collateral including both digital and print.
  • Research important industry topics and keep up to date with industry trends to ensure streams of content are relevant to our audience.
  • Identify and recruit appropriate speakers through research and networking to achieve your target requirements.
  • Identify and recruit highquality sector figures who will be able to chair theatres and moderate panel discussions.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time
  • Good IT skills. You will be using content management systems databases and email software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A curious mind with the ability to conduct effective primary and secondary research
  • Ability to quickly understand a new market and draw up list of appropriate speakers
  • Negotiation skills to persuade senior veterinary professionals to give up their time to attend our events as speakers
  • Proven creativity when it comes to problemsolving
  • Diplomatic skills to liaise with and where necessary get through gatekeepers
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail

We are searching for an entrylevel calibre applicant who is looking to explore a career in conference production in a company that is contentled and invests in its brands. Previous event experience and knowledge of/interest in the veterinary world would be an advantage.
