The Role
As a passionate trade marketer you experience lies in retail marketing bringing to life brand and product campaigns at stores in meaningful ways.
In the role of Trade Marketing Manager you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager Account Managers and wider marketing function to strategically plan the longterm deliverables in line with projected sales growth for the next 13 years.
Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate all retail marketing campaigns for Castore stores; window schemes and opening events
Liaise with the retail team to deliver seasonal product campaigns in stores with impact
Create coordinate and activate marketing plan to achieve ideal sell through rate in own retail and wholesale accounts
Brief and manage internal and external creative and design teams to deliver campaign marketing communication branded space kit and POS materials take the lead on writing full briefs for new product campaigns .
Analytical focus measure ROI and report back findings
Present marketing plans and regular brand updates to retail marketing teams & commercial teams aligned to the overall marketing strategy
Negotiating and planning wholesale marketing activities ensuring the consumer is at the heart of everything we do
Build relationships with key account marketing teams
Budget management and the ability to track annual spend and scrutinise campaign costs
Maintain annual tracker of all activity showing performance vs budget
Meet and deliver training requirements of the accounts ensuring retail colleagues are motivated and wellinformed on the brand and its products
Conduct regular audits of the channel category and competitor activity to advise future planning
Run the activation calendars ensuring plans are delivered to meet the needs of the retailers and consumers
Streamline processes and operations as needed to improve any inefficiencies; make recommendations as needed
Working closely with the account team to create and present account specific preline and sellin presentations present professionally at key account meetings
Skills & Qualities
Skills and Experience:
Marketing experience with a wellrounded approach to multiple disciplines (Brand Retail Product Digital Marketing)
Management experience
Relevant experience in a marketing role working with & developing consumer brands on a global/regional/international level
Good understanding of consumer behaviour and the ability to deliver campaigns from awareness through to conversion
Process driven with a clear understanding of working across multiple stakeholders wholesalers seasons products categories agencies and departments
Comprehensive experience pitching converting and managing brand marketing partnerships
Excellent presentation skills & powerpoint / keynote capabilities
