• The position available is a senior role within the Office of the Projects Affairs Director at the Client’s organization. The main responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage the program controls function of the division. The Projects Affairs Office is responsible for supervising the design and construction of large-scale infrastructure and building programs across various project affairs departments.
• The individual in this position will be expected to represent the Projects Affairs department both internally within the organization and externally with other organizations in a professional and authoritative manner.
• Additionally, the person in this role will lead a team responsible for program controls and will serve as the primary point of contact for any matters related to program controls.
• To enhance, execute, and enhance the controls for project, program, and portfolio (P3) at the level of project affairs portfolio, including monitoring, reporting, and management systems for complex and large-scale infrastructure and building programs.
• The P3 controls system encompasses various functions such as aligning the portfolio with strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with portfolio governance, facilitating communication and reporting within the portfolio, monitoring schedule performance, assessing cost performance, evaluating quality performance, overseeing health, safety, and environmental aspects, optimizing resource utilization, managing risks, measuring stakeholder satisfaction, and capturing lessons learned.
