TITLE: SIT Tester
Local to VA, MD or DC
Onsite - McLean, VA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled SIT Tester to join our dynamic team. The SIT Tester will be responsible for conducting software integration testing to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software integration testing
- Conduct software integration testing to identify defects and issues in software products
- Work collaboratively with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure software quality
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data in databases
- Use Python/Java to develop test automation scripts
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and suggest improvements
- Document defects and issues in defect tracking systems
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as an SIT Tester or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and manipulation
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java
- Experience with Selenium and Cucumber for test automation
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
