As a Junior Java Developer at retailcloud you will play a vital role in shaping our headless commerce platform. Your responsibilities will involve contributing to modern backend applications ensuring efficient business management and integrating diverse systems. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the development of retailclouds headless commerce platform.
  

• Design and implement highquality scalable and efficient Java solutions.
  

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from project scope definition to deployment and maintenance.
  

• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
  

• Actively participate in debugging and issue resolution to maintain a robust system.
  

• Stay uptodate with the latest Java technologies tools and trends to improve development processes.
  

• Passionately learn and apply best practices in Java development.
  

• Eagerly explore and implement changes in existing solutions following the current design and architecture.
  

• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of existing systems and methodologies.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  

• 02 years of experience in Java development.
  

• Basic knowledge of Java Spring Boot and related technologies.
  

• Strong problemsolving skills and eagerness to learn.
  

Additional Qualities:

• Passionate about learning and building software products.
  

• Enthusiastic about staying updated on the latest Java technologies tools and trends.
  

• Demonstrated eagerness to contribute to real handson projects and work on live products.
  

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and actively participate in crossfunctional teams.
  

Technology Requirements:

• Must have Core Java Relational Database SQL knowledge REST APIs.
  

• Good knowledge about Loops collections conditional statements
  

• Good understanding of OOP concepts and its implementation in Java.
  

• Good understanding about Error handling and execution flow.
  

• Should be able to write a simple Java program on a plain text editor
  

Nice to have knowledge about microservices Spring Boot Queuing systems such as RabbitMQ Streaming systems such as Kafka.
