Backend Developer - PHP Symfony mfd

Tasks

Be part of a development team that creates an amazing experience for millions of music enthusiasts around the globe! You will join the team as a BackEnd Developer helping us to improve and extend the server side of our integrated music community and virtual currency system of Music Maker JAM.

You will be responsible for the extension of our existing backend code base database and RESTAPIs as well as integrating thirdparty services. You will take part in all stages of product development; from conception through implementation to testing bug fixing and evaluation. You will join an international team of music and tech enthusiasts in an open and kind atmosphere with flat hierarchies. Via a Community of Practice with our other backend developers you will contribute collaborate learn and grow!

Requirements

Skills required

• Professional experience in developing backend APIs for web and mobile applications using PHP with Symfony/Doctrine ORM
• Strong knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles
• Confident in writing tests with TDD approach by using e.g. PHP Unit
• Design and development of relational and nonrelational databases i.e. MySQL and Redis
• Good understanding of Git
• Capable of taking on the technical responsibility for a product
• Familiar with clean architecture
• High sense of code quality and security
• Experienced to work in an Agile environment
• Solid working proficiency in English
