Job Description

Are you a passionate Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner seeking a rewarding career in a vibrant teamoriented environment Join our growing practice in Tampa Bay and make a real difference in the lives of patients facing blood disorders and cancer. Schedule:

MondayFriday 8:00 am 5:00 pm (no nights or weekends)

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations of patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including blood counts bone marrow biopsies and imaging studies.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on evidencebased practices and patient preferences.
  • Prescribe and administer medications including chemotherapy immunotherapy and supportive care therapies.
  • Manage side effects and complications of treatment.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families about their diagnosis treatment options and prognoses.
  • Collaborate with oncologists hematologists nurses pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay uptodate on the latest advancements in hematology and oncology.


Requirements


  • Masters degree in Nursing and current APRN license in Florida.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patientcentered care.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and electronic charting.
