Job Description:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:

• Be available for online consultation/meetings related to application testing Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm Pacific Time.
• Create and implement the automated QA test process to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure that documentation is clear accurate and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• Define and document QA test plans and scripts for manual and automated testing including scenariobased testing negative testing load testing and full regression testing.
• Conduct regular QA status meetings to update stakeholders on progress issues and risks.
• Identify and document potential risks and challenges associated with QA testing developing mitigation plans or making recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proactively address and resolve issues in QA that may impact release schedules.
• Provide technical advice and oversight on the implementation of new software for automated testing to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of software releases.
• Implement and maintain quality gates to prevent the release of defective software.
• Evaluate and optimize QA testing processes to improve efficiency and reduce timetomarket.
• Implement best practices for QA and functional testing and stay current on industry trends.
• Monitor issues reported postrelease to identify areas for improvement in QA and UAT testing.
• Develop an automated process for using Postman to test APIs developed for the Salesforce/MuleSoft environment.
• Develop an automated process for using Copado or Selenium to integrate automated testing as a component of a CI/CD pipeline.
• Verify that resources can follow the steps to test/verify User Interface and API readiness in the designated test environment.
• Utilize provided resources for questions clarification if needed and datedriven deadlines.
• Approve test scripts prior to promoting changes based on vendor lead build cycles after each successful sprint.

Weekly Written Status Reports:

• Progress and accomplishments during the week.
• Identify any problems encountered and proposed and/or actual resolutions.
• Verify weekly outstanding impediments or issues that may still need to be addressed.
• Weekly updates with welldocumented steps on processes used in automated test scripts both completed and in draft form.
• Quarterly planning activities to be accomplished and status updates on progress toward quarterly goals.

Create a QA Testing Manual:

• Stepbystep instructions for using Postman to test/verify APIs in the MuleSoft environment.
• Stepbystep instructions for both manual and automated testing including test scripts for the Salesforce User Interface.
• Relevant screenshots for each step.
• Workinprogress document to collect weekly work.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Seniorlevel experience implementing Salesforce build and test processes with a quick feedback loop.
• Strong understanding of version control build and deployment processes and release automation tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Analytical and problemsolving abilities to identify and address releaserelated challenges.
• Seniorlevel experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
• Demonstrable skills in overall project implementation utilizing best practices and strategic planning.
• Ability to manage and mitigate risks/issues and take corrective action.
• Develop maintain and update business and functional requirements.
• Align deliverables to the DTE project plan and the desired outcome.
• Create and maintain project documentation.
• Excellent analytical skills required to effectively work in the field of applications development and maintenance.
• Excellent understanding of Integration Technologies Domains and technical workflows.

Experience Preferred:

• 7 years of expertise in QA testing.
• 3 years building Automated Testing to support CI/CD pipelines.
• 2 years Copado Robotics Testing (CRT).
• 2 years Postman API Platform Testing.
• Seniorlevel experience creating automated test scripts using Copado or Selenium with Salesforce MuleSoft ABBYY and BOX.
• Seniorlevel experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with fully automated integration.
