Maintenance Department Manager

The Staff Pad is seeking a Structured Inside Wiring Network Estimator in Houston, ;The Structured Inside Wiring Network Estimator will be responsible for conducting site surveys and developing estimates for the design, installation, and maintenance of in-building wireless The Structured Inside Wiring Network Estimator will be working closely with project managers, installation technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecommunications networks, be able to analyze site requirements, and develop detailed project

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct/review site surveys to identify coverage areas, antenna placement, and cabling hardware
  
• Develop a detailed project estimate for structured wiring such as Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cabling, access control system, wireless system, WiFi, licensed, and unlicensed spectrum, PA system and CCTV
  
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Superintendent, installation technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are
  
• Estimate and co-manage low voltage and structured cabling projects including allocating proper resources to ensure project budgets are
  
• Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as needed to ensure projects stay within
  
• Inspect project site being bid and produce bid
  
• Create relationship with general contractors, sub-contractors, and project
  
• Work with material/equipment distributors to get material
  
• Ability to manage in state/out of state projects and support field technical
  
• Analysis of publications and perform Internet research on upcoming projects to bid in
  
• Attend required bid
  
• Inspect project site being bid and produce bid
  
• Assist with the preparation of subcontracts and purchase
  
• Work with subcontractors, ensuring all required material certifications and payrolls are being timely
  
• Review AIA billing and sub-
  
• Support field
  
• Analysis of publications and perform Internet research on upcoming projects to bid in various
  
• Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of all project-related
  
• Perform other related duties as required, directed, or as the situation
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5-7+ years of professional estimating background focused on structured wiring in construction
  
• 5-7+ years of experience in product and solution designing with an emphasis on wireless
  
• Previous experience in structured wiring focused on wired and wireless
  
• Must have experience in telecommunications specifically, Wifi and Cellular
  
• Certifications in any of the following is a plus:
  

o Wireless design

o RF design

o Project Management

o Professional Estimator

• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word,
  
• Prior experience using RF design software
