SENIOR LOGISTICS OFFICER
Purpose:
- To assist in the monitoring and control of stock by supervising the receiving storage and dispatching processes.
- Ensure that the staff adheres to the stock management procedures and policies of the company.
- Ensure Customer Service Standards are maintained SLA with internal departments or Service standards to customers.
- Ensure the daily activities that result in the moving of inventory (receiving dispatching disposal) are done according to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all procedures required by external governing bodies are complied with. (AEO Customs OSHA).
- Prepare and action all related reports required by the
- Ensure all assigned tasks are executed within the stipulated standard time to achieve KPIs.
- Ensure all documentation within the Distribution Centre that affects stock accuracy is processed accurately and promptly. (STN GRNs DN).
- Participate in scheduled stock counts.
- Participate in the performance appraisal process of team members.
- Monitor the daily activities of the Logistics Officers Logistics
- Clerks and warehouse assistants assigned to the department.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
- Stock variance below the tolerable limit of 0.25% FIXED
- External Customer score CSAT above 85% FIXED
- Containers offloaded in 5 working days.
- Branch replenishment is 95% compliant with the schedule.
- Customer Delivery performance 90% by DDD
- 95% of quarterly stock variance reconciled and submitted within the Company’s guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years experience in warehousing at the supervisory
- level
- Computer literate.
- Analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication
- skills.
Required Personal Characteristics:
- Must be a team person as the job requires close interface with all other departments.
- Must be able to accept responsibility and be resultoriented.
- Must be able to handle large volumes of transactions and multitask.
- Must be able to communicate easily with a wide crosssection of individuals.
- Must be able to motivate and build a team.
Required Education:
- Diploma in Business or Logistics.
