Tasks

West Tennessee Family Solutions is looking for a caring individual to fill
the role of Home Care Assistant.We are looking for an experienced Home
Care Assistant who can provide assistance to elderly and
differentlybaled individuals both at home and in the community.

Working primarily under the direction of nursing staff the Home Care Assistant
will provide a wide range of assistance and support to clients to help
them maintain quality of life in the comfort of their home.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least one year of experience in home care or related field
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Desire to work with elderly and differentlybaled individuals
• Ability to follow through with verbal and written instructions
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written

Requirements

• Provide general assistance and care to clients in their home
• Monitor and record changes in clients conditions
• Assist with basic personal care tasks such as bathing brushing teeth and using the toilet
• Prepare meals do light housekeeping and provide companionship
• Assist with shopping and social activities as needed
• Maintain a clean safe work environment
