On behalf of a large semistate body in Co. Clare we are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner.
This Finance Business Partner will provide the opportunity to work closely with the business creating a real partnership with both operations and management. Providing support and analysis to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial ownership of key external contract.
- Work closely with the business and Financial Operations team and FP&A to ensure that costs are correctly recorded and ensure costs are billed in line with the contract.
- Support Target Setting Corporate Plan budget and forecast process. Link with the FP&A team on Budget and Plan challenging Business Line submissions and identifying key enablers of improved finance performance.
- Interact and manage relationship with external auditors and CRU.
- Present to senior stakeholders in the Business on projects and financial issues.
Requirements
- A finance qualification with minimum 34 years PQE or equivalent.
- The ability to understand and communicate the key drivers of financial performance.
- A commercial mind set with effective analytical and interpersonal skills comfortable in dealing with senior management.
- An ability to write clearly and concisely for business purposes.
- Stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
