We are looking for an experienced IT S ystem Administrator in fulltime to strengthen our small but growing IT team at our Berlin campus.

Your responsibilities as System Administrator include:
Network Management:
* Configuration maintenance and optimization of network infrastructures.
* Monitoring network performance and addressing issues.
* Implementing security measures for the network.System Administration:
* Installation configuration and maintenance of servers and other IT systems.
* Managing user accounts permissions and access rights.
* Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting.
Data Backup and Recovery:
* Implementation and monitoring of backup strategies.
* Ensuring the integrity and availability of data.
* Planning and executing emergency recovery measures.
Security Management:
* Implementing security policies and best practices.
* Identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
* Monitoring antivirus and security software.
Software Installation and Updates:
* Installing and updating operating systems and application software.
* License management and ensuring software compliance.
* Troubleshooting software issues.
Endpoint Management:
* Configuration and support of workstations laptops and mobile devices.
* Bachelors Degree in Science Computer Science Computer Engineering or similar.
* 5 years working within IT operations spanning IT help desk network and security.
* Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
* Effective communication with team members and endusers.
* Critical thinking to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
* Adaptability to quickly troubleshoot and find solutions.
* Flexibility to handle evolving technologies and changing priorities.
* Openness to learning new tools and methodologies.
* Collaboration with colleagues for efficient problem resolution.
* Sharing knowledge and skills with team members.
* Prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines.
Nice to have
* TCP/IP DHCP DNS knowledge.
* OS knowledge (Windows Server Linux).
* Server installation configuration and maintenance.
* Knowledge of backup strategies.
* Understanding of data privacy and compliance.
* Software distribution tools.
* License management.
* Mobile Device Management (MDM) understanding.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Google Cloud).
