Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer you will be based at our QHE head office in Coventry and will work to support our clients servicing and maintaining the equipment as part of service agreements. A key role to ensure we continue to exceed customer expectations.

Tasks

What will you do

• Scheduled servicing of manual and automated plants at our client works including; cleaning inspection and testing as per our standard procedures
• Complete detailed survey of plant/machines at client sites detailing faults and requirements for repairs
• Maintenance and repair of manual and automated plant at our client works
• Installations of manual and automated plant at our client works
• System testing and commissioning
• Generate detailed material list for service maintenance and installation works
• Completion of detailed service reports and job related documentation
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality Health Safety and the Environment.
• Promote company and services during interaction with the client.

Requirements

What are we looking for

Education: Mechanical/Electrical qualified engineer preference being electrically biased

Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role in the customer technical service area.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency and experience in pneumatics heating cooling control systems pumping systems process valves instrumentation steam heating system etc.
• Experience installing large capital equipment products
• Demonstrated experience working with PLCs HMI and SCADA systems
• Ability to read and interpret pneumatic electrical mechanical and P & ID drawings

Location: Coventry area reasonable commuting distance. Willingness to travel overseas when required.
