Team Lead Outfitting

As a Team Lead Outfitting you will be working closely with the client in order to execute their design engineering projects with close coordination of your Outfitting design team. Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Preparation / review of PFD P&IDs design calculation / analysis procurement specification etc.
  
• Good understanding and knowledge of international piping standards Piping components and material etc.
• Reading and understanding the P&IDs Piping material specification and construction standard.
• Review of bill of materials and weight calculations piping Isometric drawing composite Layout Drawings Pipe support fabrication drawing manual Isometric sketches detailed production design for Piping related outfitting including 3D model.
• Review of 3D model drawings and other engineering deliverables in line with project standards and yard requirements.
• Basic and detail design engineering activities for the assigned projects in Marine and Offshore & Oil and Gas projects in accordance with the company established procedures.
• Responsible for the planning and coordination of all engineering activities within a project with close coordination of the Project Manager.
• Preparation & Issue of RFQs evaluation of vendors quotations clarifications Technical Bid Analysis etc.
• Review of vendors documents drawings datasheets specifications and calculations.
• Leading a team of engineers within the detail design department (distributing controlling and monitoring activities of all team members) for the outfitting section & the basic design department as per client requirements.
• Assist your team members for Outfitting Design related tasks.
• Occasionally performs engineering work (drawings overviews layouts).
• Performing engineering work in accordance with the requirements of the project (budget schedule safety and customer requirements).
• Coordination with suppliers clients and subcontractors.
• Strong Management skills equipped with capability to multitask and handle few projects at the same time.
• Assist Project Manager in presales and postsales support.
• Willing to relocate on client site either domestic or International on short notice. Any other associated task or responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.

Job Requirements:

• You are a diploma/graduate in shipbuilding mechanical or equivalent with minimum work experience of 8 to 10 years.
• You have worked on detail and basic design projects in area of Shipbuilding & Offshore.
• You have Technical knowledge of preparation of isometrics Arrangement 3D model for basic detail and production stages for marine / offshore platforms etc.
• Cadmatic Ship Constructor or any other 3D software experience preferable.
• You have good communication skills and enjoy helping customers.
• You have minute attention to detail.
• You will be willing to continue to develop your technical knowledge and skills.
• You are ready to serve minimum service commitment of 2 years in our company.
